There are no changes as far as tourists are concerned; shops, restaurants, hotels, etc. are, of course, still there. You can also move around as freely as before: go to the Outlyings Islands, or into the New Territories, just as you please. Street signs and announcements in the the MTR trains are still in English as well as in Cantonese. There have been no major changes to visa requirements so far, but this can of course change any time; please contact your travel agent before your trip. |
