for golfers. The three most important courses are:
The Bali Golf and Country Club in Nusa Dua. The course has 18 holes, par 72. It has has multiple tees allowing for play by novices and professionals. Each hole is unique and the course has three definite setting for play. >From hole 1-9 play extends up a hill with panoramic scenes of the sea. You may also be able to see Gunung Agung (only if you are lucky!) on a clear day. Holes 10-16 are played through a coconut grove with high palms. Holes 17-18 are played along the beachside and back towards a large artificial lake. The course was designed by Rodney Wright and Robin Nelson. The Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club The golf course is located at 1142 metres above sea level in Bedugul and has 18 holes, par 72. It is listed among the world's fifty greatest. The Handara Kosaido Country Club is especially popular for its scenery and its average temperature of 16-20o C that makes a pleasant change from the heat of southern Bali.
